Our day a day and class activities

Class 9/10:

The mysterious box:  In the first class the teacher was asking us "What do you think can be inside a box?"
Maybe you san sake it, listens carefully or maybe smells it to know what it is, and if you can't discover what’s inside, you can try touching it...

We had to pay attention because in the box included a clue to know the object that was there.
We think about how a child will attend, participate and have fun trying to discover what’s inside. And that’s what we have to try in our classes to make children interested and exited to discover and to learn new things.

Class  14/09

In this class the teacher showed us how we can to tell stories. We learnt a different way to act and how we can improve the mistakes that we normally use. This class for us was very useful because in the school that we do practise normally the teacher teach different than the university's class.

She asked us "What can you teach?" "¿How can you teach it?". A good game to play with the children is Simon says. In this game you can teach parts of the body, comments actions or music instruments.

When you are teaching you have to develop your own style, we have to know that every teacher, every class and every child is DIFFERENT.  The general guidelines when you prepare a performance, you have to pay attention to use familiar vocabulary, divide the class, check children understand, give a signal to start, wait for silence, attention and give clear the instructions.

Class 21/09

Today in class we have done some activities to teach pronunciation. First of all the teacher has given to us some tongue twisters, for exemple:

Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.
Did Peter Piper pick a peck of pickled peppers?
If Peter Piper Picked a peck of pickled peppers,
Where's the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?

She sells seashells by the seashore.
The shells she sells are surely seashells.
So if she sells shells on the seashore,
I'm sure she sells seashore shells

After that we had to learn a story in groups and we had to try to understand the story at the same time that we pronunciate well. The story was called The boy who cried Wolf. Then, for proving that some pupils had to read this story in loud voice and the teacher said some thigs to improve. She reforced the pronuntiation, the entonation and the gestures while someone is telling a story.
In this class we learned that is very important to pronunce and entonate well because children are more concentrated when they see some diferent as a performance.

Class 5/10

Class 26/10
This day was the first day that three groups performanced. Firstly María Martinez Cristofol, Ana Gil, Noemi Cataluña and Sandra Martinez did "Ugly duck"
The second group were Paula Rubio, Paula Sebastián, Alejandra Gil and Nacho Serrano. They did "Three little pigs"

The last group were "The lion king". We are Alba Alcaraz, Irene Velasco, Carolina Planells and Mar Egea.

When each group finished their perfomance, the teacher told us some aspects to improve. We think that the teacher was very polite when she explained our mistakes. Now we would know how to do it everything correctly and for the next time we will correct it.

Class 2/11
The first group that were Marta Tarazona, Macarena de la Puerta, Carmen Escudero and Marina Vendrell

Class 9/11
